Caramelized Onion & Balsamic
Ingredients

Step 1
Fill a medium pot with water.

Step 2
Bring the water to a boil.

Step 3
Add salt and pasta to the boiling water.

Step 4
Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente.

Step 5
While pasta cooks, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-low heat.

Step 6
Add thinly sliced onion to the skillet and cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until deeply golden and softened.

Step 7
Pour in balsamic vinegar and stir, scraping up any browned bits.

Step 8
Drain the cooked pasta.

Step 9
Add the drained pasta.
